I don't mean to sound rude but they may have had more critical things to deal
with at the time. I'm quite sure they are as capable of looking up documentation
as you are :-)

Subject: answer for [NV-L] NetView Version 6.0 on NT SQL record purge
I found my own answer. There is a job scheduled with AT called snmpodump
that was (automatically during the install) scheduled. I just had to remove
the entry and the purge stopped. I found the answer under documentation for
installing TDS for NetView 1.0. I was surprised that the Tivoli Technical
support folks did not find the answer before I did.

We have installed NetView 6.0 on NT 4.0 with data being stored in SQL. We
are trying to maintain a 60 - 90 day history on SNMPCollect data. The
NetView is purging records when the database reaches approx 60,000+ records.
We have tried setting purge to never, as well as setting the purge to only
happen once a month.
