It has been pointed out to me that perhaps my last append was a bit hasty. Have
you recently changed any netmon options? If so, try putting them back the way
they were using the GUI, and if that fails, review your /usr/OV/conf/ovsuf
file. Look for the netmon entry that starts with "0:netmon" and looks at the
options "-P,-S,-u" or what have you. Do they appear to be syntactically OK --
not run together or missing punctuation?
You will still have to call Support if this doesn't help.

Signal 11 indicates that a core occurred and you should contact Support for
further assistance.
You might look at the netmon trace for other messages but it is unlikely that
you can do anything on your own.

Hello,
I am receiving following error when I try to start Netmon daemon.

behavior: OVs_WELL_BEHAVED
state: NOT_RUNNING

last message: Initialization complete.
exit status: exited on signal 11
I have NetView 6.0 installed on SUN E250. O/S Level is Solaris 2.7.
Any help will be appreciated.
