Check your ulimits. Make certain that the number of processes per user is at
least 256 and your stack and data sizes are unlimited.
Run ulimit -a from the command line in the window you sued to start the GUI to
see what they are.

Subject: [NV-L] demand poll hangs

Hi,
I`m experiencing the following problem:
when I execute demand poll over the GUI
the output windows pops up but nothing
happens. I only see the timer.
When I execute a snmpget or snmpwalk over CLI
I get the requested information from the nodes.
The community names in
/usr/OV/conf/communityNames.conf
are ok. Netmon is running and nmdemandpoll will be
invoked.

Thanks for your help
Torsten
