Probably he means ovwdb cache, which can be changed in daemon configuration
panel in serversetup
(or NetView admin menu in Tivoli).

Subject: RE: [NV-L] Netmon cache
James,
The reason for asking is on my Netview (for NT) server,
when the 'Updating Map' process is in progress,
the entire system seems to just hang until the updating is finished.
There's a consultant in house this week that's supposed to
be a 'Netview Expert'. He said all I have to do is increase
the cache used by Netmon. Although he couldn't show me where
that change is made.
