martyn ,
1. Check permissions:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 Feb 2 2000
/etc/rc3.d/S99netnmrc -> /etc/init.d/netnmrc
-rwxr-x--- 1 bin bin 7850 Feb 25 2000 /etc/init.d/netnmrc
2. Check system log.
3. Check that you have /bin/ksh
4. Check you have /etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh
5. Check the timestamp and contents of /usr/OV/tmp/netnmrc.ovstart

Subject: [NV-L] Netview daemons do not start after a
reboot
Hi. I have Netview for Unix 5.1.3 running on a Solaris box. It seems that
each time the unix box is rebooted, the netview daemons do not start
automatically, I have to run ovstart to start them (or the netview script as
root).
Does anyone have some idea of what I should check to find out why this is
happening? Is the /etc/rc3.d/S99netnmrc script the one that gets run after a
reboot? If so, that script works fine if I run it manually...
Thanks!
