Ray, you should look at a sampling of the ones that don't show up and
see why they don't. If you have specified 'and' for those three factors, my
suspicion would be isNode is not set. That is set when you do an ovtopofix,
and that is done because it doesn't always get set when the node is
discovered. At least it wasn't years ago.

However, I would have strong reservations about defining a smartset with
thousands of members. I would anticipate it causing performance problems.
It certainly won't look nice on the screen. You don't say what you want it
for, but perhaps that need, whatever it is, can be met using the nvdbformat
command, for reporting or listing purposes. If you are looking for them to
unmanage them, then consider adding IP Status of not unmanaged to the
definition.

Is SNMP enabled on these PC's? If it is do it by the OID, if not, I
have found that if you have a specific naming convention for workstations,
you can use that. That way SNMP doesn't matter. I have used this method for
our servers as well because some sites have taken it upon themselves to
stop
the SNMP service for whatever reason.

If I want all NT PC's to be in a single smart set, how do I do this?

The properties of the machines I want, from the objecr properties
window are:    Node, IP, and PC.

I've tried different combinations of these from various selection
options but it only finds a few of them, not the thousand or so I want in
there.
