If it's the same as I remember, I reported this as a bug, and eventually
was
told it was a design feature (???).

Hi,
Interfaces with ifAdminStatus: up and ifOperStatus: dormant are show by
Netview as critical, I`m getting router status with snmp because I can not
do ping to these interfaces. There is a way to change the status of these
interfaces to something like status User1?
