SNMP Data Collection of SNMP V2 Parameters

Does anyone know if there is a way to configure NetView's SNMP Data
Collector to use SNMP V2, rather then vanilla SNMP?  

Right now, it seems to be restricted to SNMP V1.   Is it simply a matter of
hand editing the *conf files?
