Take map backups regularly. Take them when the database
is in good condition. Stuff happens. Free advice.....
Hey, everybody - when did you last tar up /usr/OV/databases/openview?
Weeks? Months? Never? How about today?

Thanks for the tip....the mapadmin command seemed to remove the bad
entries...odly enough, even the 'default' map was listed as invalid...some
kind of corruption must have taken place. Once again, thanks.

I've never seen that. And I've seen plenty. It has to be some
corruption. Investigate the mapadmin command, and ovwls,
but you probably should call Support.

Strange problem...out of no-where multiple entries of my maps appear to
exist. i.e. 2 "default" maps. What would cause these duplicate entries?
Anyone had experience with this?
