I have no such file on my box, nor on any one I can find. I also did a
quick search on the build tree for NetView and I cannot find where we build
nor ship such a file.
What directory is it in?
Leslie suggested Lotus notes because "nsf" is the tradition suffix for the
local copy of a Lotus notes database.
Could this have been ftp'd to this box by someone for some other purpose?

No, this machine is solely dedicated to Netview and, as such only has
Netview & the Tivoli frameworks installed.
A hex dump of the file is inconclusive so I am going to ftp it to another
system for a while to see if anything on the NV system complains that it's
missing.

I've never seen such a file related to Netview. Do you have Lotus Notes
on that machine? Sounds like a mail file.

Can anyone tell me what a Tivlists.nsf file contains? I have a 47MB file of
this name sitting in my /var/tmp directory (NV 5.x on AIX 4.3.3) that was
created in January 2000.
Do I need to keep it and/or can it be located elsewhere?
