I'm running Oracle 8.1.5 with NetView 6.01 on a Sun box with no problems.
I'm using Oracle for IP Topology and snmpCollect data.

Is anybody out there using NetView 6 with Oracle 8.1.x? The NV database
guide shows Oracle 7.3.1 - 7.3.4 is supported. I called support and got the
same answer.
