Hi Bob,

I can think of two ways checking the T/EC slot mappings
a) Check the trap that corresponds to the closed event in your netview
     workspace, select it and go for Options / Event Description and
     Modify  the T/EC Slot Mapping in the Event Desciption
    (remove "status = CLOSED" or set "status = OPEN"
b) Have a look at /usr/OV/conf/c/trapd.conf for all traps
    that have a "status CLOSED"  slot value defined

I need to get the details of where I go to change the Status field from
CLOSED to OPEN as NV is sending events to
T/EC. I have the basic idea but it is not intuitive enough so that how this
is changed or if I was successful. Please help
