Have you loaded:
/var/snmp/mib/sun.mib
/var/snmp/mib/snmpdx.mib
I have found that changing the community strings and ACLs in /etc/snmp/conf
results in um, unpredicitble behavior. So, no, I don't have an snmpdx
configuration that works, unless you count the one that sun ships right out
of the box.

Subject: [NV-L] Solaris-8 Question
Does anyone have a working snmpdx agent configuration that is willing to
share?
I have been asked to monitor a Sun/Solaris-8 box.
The SEA only responds with the following information when an snmpwalk of the
entire mib is requested.
42.2.15.1.0 : OCTET STRING- (ascii): /var/snmp/snmpdx.st
End of MIB.
Thanks
Don Davis
