Here is perhaps another solution,
In the filter rules of the mlm you can specify a command for each matched
trap.
So you could send the trap again via a external script and add the
IP-Address of the
MLM in a new Variable.
I have not looked into it in more detail, but I could imagine that you
could send an
additional trap with an identifier of the original trap + MLM IP-address,
or
you are filtering the original trap and add all the information to the new
trap + MLM IP-address.
I would choose the first solution (if possible :)) because you are not
changing the
trap definition. On the netview machine you can correlate again.
I hope these ideas are not too strange.
