This is a multipart message in MIME format. Hello Jeff - I assumed you were using UNIX because you did not specify a version or platform and the bulk of the users on the list are UNIX. I don't believe that the NT version support using an alternate port the way UNIX does, which is why you find no mention of it. The UNIX code is much more customizable than is the NT code. If you think this option should be made available in the NT version, then please contact Support and have them open a Product Enhancement Request on your behalf. I cant find xnmsnmpconf, just snmpconf.exe I have been able to check on a Unix system, and yes there is the option to change the port there. Interesting that it doesn't seem to be in the Windows version. Perhaps a quick edit of the underlying conf file, ovsnmp.conf? The comments at the top don't mention the port. Unfortunately I forgot to mention I am running on the Windows platform, which may make a difference. I cant find xnmsnmpconf, just snmpconf.exe
I have been able to check on a Unix system, and yes there is the option to change the port there. Interesting that it doesn't seem to be in the Windows version.
