Paul,

check out the "mlmRemoteCollect" and "smconvert" utilities.
Both of these run on the NetView server.
The first one will transfer the MLM collect log to the NetView server.
The second one converts the MLM collect log into the familiar
snmpCollect format.
You can then run "nvColToSQL" against the data files to converts them
from the flat file format to the relational database tables.
(to use "nvCol2SQL" you have to configure RIM and install the
NetView database components).

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

Is anyone using MLM to perform collections and then storing the collections
in an Oracle database? If so, how are you accomplishing it?

Thank You

Paul Maine
