U could have tried demand poll rather for new name through DNS to assign for the discovered Object

AIX 4.3.3 NetView 6.0.2

I have deleted nodes in the map so I can make some DNS changes and I then rediscover the nodes so they come back with the desired name. My question is what can I do to speed up the rediscovery of the nodes if anything?
