All the nvsniffer traps are in the trapd.conf which ships with 7.1 Look for a keyword of "Service" James Shanks Level 3 Support for Tivoli NetView for UNIX and NT Tivoli Software / IBM Software Group
Netview 7.1 Solaris 8 When using nvsniffer, what is the trap number when a service changes state from Critical to Normal and vice versa??? Is this a netview trap number? I would like to add this trap to a trap correlation I have, and I need its identifier. Is this the prefer way to report services changes???? How are you guys monitoring services???? Thanks for any information.
