NetView presents snmp collected data differently based on mib object data
type. While
delta value is used for "counter", sampled value (or absolute value) is
used for "gauge" and
"integer".
If you don't like the default presentation of the data, you can reconfigure
it in mib.coerce
conf file.

The data collector computes and stores rates rather than values for MIB
variables that have syntax "Counter", only.
It does this because the absolute values of Counters are not meaningful.
