Leslie,

Surprisingly, the issue is no longer there. I had a "bad" Smartset that was giving me all kinds of headaches (Thus so many posts lately). After I found the bad smartset and deleted it, everything is working fine, and the strange output from ovmapcount -a had disappeared. The smartset I was referencing actually included the Smartset itself so it was like a mirror looking into a mirror. There were so many objects in it that they looked like pin heads even with the map zoomed in at 10. I found this to be very BAD for NetView :-)
Thanks Leslie,
