[nv-l] nvUtil Utility

NetView 6.0.3 AIX 4.3.3

I am using a script that gathers data using the nvUtil e  command. Every now and then the script just hangs. When I kill the script and run nvUtil L (or any other switch) the command just hangs. This seems to clear up after a while. All daemons are up and running. Is there an instance where nvUtil would not be available with all daemons up and running?
