If it is a cisco device try using this in the router configuration:

no snmp trap link-status

This prevents the Cisco IOS from sending link up / link down traps for this interface. I code this on all of our PPP routers to prevent the topology thrashing from users logging in via PPP. This statement is coded on each interface you want to supress the traps from.

Subject: [nv-l] Interfaces unmanaged

 Running Netview 6.0.3 ..........Aix 4.3.3.

I have problems wiht interfaces managed and unmanaged.  I have the
interfaces DIALER --wiht ip adrress --  unmanaged . Sometimes, the Netview delete these interfaces, and appear in new objecta area , status down.

I can force to that discovers them unmanaged?
Because these interfaces are deleted?
