New Install
I have installed Netview on new machine that is to replace old one
running 7.1.2.
NOTE: I am upgrading with new platform due to system having faster
processor and more memory and disc space.
Install went fine and Netview came up with the seed file I copied to
from old system.
I started WEBSERVER AND SNMPSERVER and both are running. I do not have
nvsec running.
I installed user and password via WEB CONSOLE SECURITY window and
restarted WEBSERVER AND SNMPSERVER.
When I launch WEB CONSOLE via Tools menu and enter user and password, it
fails saying ...
CANNOT CONNECT TO WEB SERVER (my system name) at port 8080
I did the exact same thing on my currently running system, (7.1.1 with
upgrade to 7.2.2) and the WEB interface works fine.
Any ideas.
I must have missed something.
