We taken a less costly and less complicated solution after looking into the HACMP options listed by Marcos below.. The question that will need to first answer is the recovery time required to have your redundant NV/6000 online and if the NV/6000 recovery has to be fully automated. ______________________ Ken Karasek IS Network Management Hewitt Associates, LLC 100 Half Day Road Lincolnshire, Illinois 60069 Phone: 847.295.5000 FAX: 847.295.8877 The information transmitted is intended only for the person(s) or entity(ies) to which it is addressed. Hi, Jovan You can implement HACMP with EMC or SHARK disk solutions. You can implement an HACMP cluster with two servers: Netview and other relevant server. You can separate these two servers in two distinct sites/rooms. Between the two site you can implement PPRC (Shark disk) or SRDF (EMC disk). It´s possible to integrate HACMP and PPRC or SRDF processes. The result will be: - a contingency of servers and services; - a contingency and high availability. You have to consider the effort and the cost with the implementation and the maintanance. -----Mensagem original----- De: Roberts, Jovan (J.B.)
