You can
implement HACMP with EMC or SHARK disk solutions.
You can implement an HACMP cluster with
two servers: Netview and other relevant server. You can
separate these two servers in two distinct sites/rooms.
Between the two site you can implement PPRC
(Shark disk) or SRDF (EMC disk).
It´s possible to integrate HACMP and
PPRC or SRDF processes.
The result will be:
- a contingency of servers and
services;
- a contingency and high
availability.
You have to consider the effort and the cost
with the implementation and the maintanance.
We are trying to determine the best redundant
and disaster recovery solutions for our Netview server
(AIX). What type of solutions are being used by other IBM customers?
