Netview 7.1.3 on AIX 4.3.3 Hello, I am trying to forward DFM traps to TEC Console. I am receiving them in trapd.log (see attached trapd.log). I have loaded the four trap definitions (see attached trapd.conf). I have created a ruleset to forward these loaded DFM trap definitions to the TEC Console, but it never makes it there. Turning on the tracing reveals FALSE match during processing (see attached nvcorrd.alog) (notice the ruleset looking for a match with oid 733.0 while DFM traps received are oid 733.2.1.6.0 or 733.2.1.5.0 etc.). I have seen several postings to this affect, but never saw a good answer. Thanks. Excerpt from trapd.log :
Trapd.conf has following entries (not exhaustive): _______________________________________________________________
Excerpt from nvcorrd.alog with tracing on all:
,6 6 6 6 , EQUAL) = FALSE
,6 6 6 6 , EQUAL) = FALSE
