One piece of advice. Change your traps from "Log Only" to some other
category such as "Error Events". Then run a ruleset in an event window to
see them.
When you can see the events in the window then all the conditions are
right to have them be sent to TEC. If they don't make the window, then
something is wrong and you should call Support for help.

Netview 7.1.3 on AIX 4.3.3
Hello,
I am trying to forward DFM traps to TEC Console. I am receiving them in
trapd.log (see attached trapd.log). I have loaded the four trap
definitions (see attached trapd.conf). I have created a ruleset to forward
these loaded DFM trap definitions to the TEC Console, but it never makes
it there. Turning on the tracing reveals FALSE match during processing
(see attached nvcorrd.alog) (notice the ruleset looking for a match with
oid 733.0 while DFM traps received are oid 733.2.1.6.0 or 733.2.1.5.0
etc.).
I have seen several postings to this affect, but never saw a good answer.
Thanks.
