Trap forwarding on Windows is provided by the trapfrwd daemon. The online
doc that ships with product will tell you how to activate him. Basically
you configure the trapfrwd.conf file in \usr\ov\conf to pick out the trapd
you want and the hosts to send to,, and optionally the trapfrwd.cfg file
if you want a log kept (just set traceon=1). There are comments in both
files to help. Then you enable the daemon using ovaddobj: ovaddobj
<drive:>\usr\ov\lrf\trapfrwd.lrf and from then on you control him the same
way as all the others.

HI all

I am running a test system (Netview 7.1.3 on win 2000 pro) and I would
like
to forward the alerts and traps to another system i.e. my
netview
aix, can this be done and how do I set it up?

Thanks
Vynita
