I don not believe that the CiscoWorks will do root cause analysis and
forwarding to TEC. We also have CW2000 here, but mainly use it for Cisco
specific work.

We were discussing the same thing here, (incorporating Switch Analyzer) but
have yet to see a price tag on it. However, we have Cisco Works 2000 and I
understand that Netview can integrate with it. Doing this integration,
does anyone know if it would do anything similar to what Switch Analyzer
would do?

You are right, the price it is QUITE STUNNING. They were here at
Princeton U.
as sales pitch. The basic price wasn't too bad but the cost per switch
port
was insane considering we have thousands of ports.

We just couldn't understand how an add on to Netview would cost more than
twice
its' cost, not to mention the maintenance costs on it.

We just told them "Thanks for coming" and showed them where the door was
at.
