Small point of confusion.....

If there is a duplicate address how is it getting added to NetView in the
first place? Or does this trap give you a visual cue that you have discovery
thrashing back and forth between two boxes with a duplicate interface?

I created a rule set to email me upon reception of duplicate IP address
traps. After I made these changes and I was really surprised at how many we
have. With such a large environment the fun part is going to be getting
these fixed! Thanks for everyone's help.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Paul.

In the /usr/OV/conf/netmon.conf this line is commented out.

# Set to TRUE to report duplicate IP addresses, don't remove them.
#NV_NETMON_REPORT_DUP_ADDRS_ONLY=FALSE
