List,

NetView 7.1.2 on AIX 4.3.3

I am having an intermittent problem opening an X-Windows session on our NetView servers from a w2k PC using Hummingbird Exceed 7.0.  It works fine for a few days and then fails with the message "rexecd: 0826-604 The login is not correct".  Connections to other AIX and VMS servers remain OK,  the problem only occurs on AIX boxes running NetView.  The PC will begin working again after a reboot.

Has anybody experienced this before? If so did you get the issue resolved?

I have logged a call with Hummingbird and it was suggested that I reinstall the OS on the PC (I would consider this a messy option as the problem is intermittent and a reboot 'fixes' it for a while)
