Seems to me you should leave the entry as is.

The snmpCollect daemon checks on the MIB object data type and enters it in
the file. 

The on line help says it will collect objects of type TimeTicks.

I do not have the Nokia MIB you are talking about but NV collects sysUpTime
from MIB-II without apparent problem, and enters its data type as TIMETICKS.
