Brian -

This is an SNMP V2 MIB.  "Module Identity" is a V2-only construct.  That's why you cannot load it with the SNMP V1 loader.
What are you trying to load it for?  What do you want to do with it?

You can load it with the Java MIB loader, the one that comes with the web client, but then you have to use the Java MIB browser to query the agent to get any data.
Otherwise you will probably have to find an SNMP V1 version of the MIB if you can.

James,

Thanks for the reply...sorry for being so vague about the MIB load.  Below is a capture of the error message, and then below that, the first 20-25 lines of the MIB file.  The error is referring to line 17.  This is happening on NetView 7.1.2 on the Win2K platform using the Netview Client gui MIB Loader (Tools...MIB...Loader SNMP v1).

What is the error you are getting?

If you paste the error message and the offending lines of the MIB, then maybe someone can tell you how to fix it.  It's probably just a syntax error.

Has anybody ever tried to load the MIB for a Nortel Contivity Extranet switch into NetView ?  I am getting an error regarding line 52 of the cestraps.mib file and have tried the same file from several sources with the same results.  MIB's from other vendors are loading correctly, so I think it is definitely the cestraps.mib.....just wondered if anybody else has seen the same thing and knows how to resolve it ?
