loading MIBS does not load trap definitions into NetView. There is a tool, mib2trap that you can run...which generates a script containing commands that will load trap definitions. So this is a two step process. Run the mib2trap, verifiy the generated script looks ok, then run the generated script. this works IF there are trap definitions in your MIB. That is not always the case.
