That is a limitation of the Integration Utility as it comes from Cisco.
Last time I looked at their website they said it was working as designed.
That is the reason that I seldom recommend actually using the feature. It
is easier to just launch the web interface to CW once and type in the name
of the node you want to see. It usually launches a new instance of your web
browser, too. I install it just for the symbols and fields it provides.
Cordially,

Subject: [nv-l] Launching
CiscoView from Netview Web Console
09/10/2003 10:23
AM
NV 7.1.3 , Solaris 8 (Server)
NV 7.1.2, Windows Web Client
Problem1: Ciscoview prompts for the user name and password
Q1: Is there a way I can Configure Netview or CiscoView not to prompt for
the username and password?
Q2: Is there an Applet Version of the CiscoView Launch instead of using
the browser?
Thank You,
Meyos.
