If Im
not mistaken, the SMI RFC has provision for Octets. As long as the varbind
type is configured for Octet, I believe Netview will display it. My guess
would be your trap is sending the wrong varbind type (not Octets) thus trapd and
nvevents not knowing how to handle it.
