The easiest way to remove badly discovered objects on Windows is to clear the databases and rediscover everything.   First make a seed file of the things you really want/need to discover.   The use server setup, got to the "Databases" tab, and use the pull down window to select "Clear Databases".  When you "OK" that, your entire databases structure will be wiped out and netmon will set about discovering and building you a new one.  With correct DNS, it should be better this time.

If you don't want to do this, then you will have to select each object you want to delete, pull down the Options menu on the GUI and click Delete.  If you just right click and delete the symbol, that will not help, because the object will still remain in the database, so it will not be rediscovered.

If you want a command line way to delete individual objects, I would check out nvmaputil, a new utility only recently added to the product, which is explained in the Release Notes.
