What was the exact syntax of the loadhosts command you entered? You need to specify an IP address, a name, and a subnetmask, in addition to -p in order to get loadhosts to add a device.. Check out the Programmer's Reference in \usr\ov\books and see how it is used James Shanks Level 3 Support for Tivoli NetView for UNIX and Windows Tivoli Software / IBM Software Group
Loadhost on the NT side does not seem to like to do a -p. I have a host I have ping'd repeatedly to show that it was up, however when I do a loadhost -p on that device it returns the error. Not Added: No ICMP reponse. Even though I know it is up Any thoughts? |
