This sounds like an X emulator problem. It always works fine for me, too. Cordially, Leslie A. Clark IBM Global Services - Systems Mgmt & Networking Detroit
I just did something along these lines yesterday. I am on Solaris with NetView 7.1.4 and I did NOT see the behavior you mention.I created a new map and the existing map closed. -----Original Message----- From: owner-nv-l@lists.us.ibm.com [mailto:owner-nv-l@lists.us.ibm.com]On Behalf Of Christopher J Petrina Sent: Friday, January 16, 2004 12:56 PM To: nv-l@lists.us.ibm.com Subject: [nv-l] creating maps with multiple maps open Before I send this on to Support I thought I might ask and see if anyone has seen this. Not sure if the version matters, but using 7.1.4 AIX Netview. When you create a new map and have multiple maps open, Netview does not kill the others maps, it leaves them open, however they are all blank. and the Map window cannot be closed. Has anyone seen this before. Chris Petrina MEADWESTVACO |
