No. nvtecia is used to stop or restart the forwarding not to alter the slots that sent. nvserverd re-reads the trapd.conf file in the same way trapd does every time xnmtrap generates the "format changed" trap.

heres a fairly simple one. when I modify information in the xnmtrap, say altering a msg statement. Once I finish click OK/APPLY do I need to do a nvtecia -reload or stop/start nvserverd for any reason if I am forwarding ont he traps?
