Hi Pankaj,
with AIX 5.1 ML03 (and next MLs) and AIX 5.2 there is a new
snmpd/dpid2-subagent which manages the variables defined in RFC 1514:
       o hrSystem (1.3.6.1.2.1.25.1)
       o hrStorage (1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2)
       o hrDevice (1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3)
       o hrSWInstalled (1.3.6.1.2.1.25.6)
Its name is hostmibd.

With AIX 5.2 there are still some more subagents named aixmibd and
snmpmibd.
Refer to the manpages and/or AIX support for questions about these agents.

Thanks Joe,

SNMP Research doesn't have any agent for AIX.
Net-SNMP has an agent but it is not clear how much
of the Host Resources MIB it supports.

Is there anything that comes standard with AIX?
