Thread-topic: | Traps still showing for device with SNMP traps disabled |
We had a situation where we were getting many “Authentication Failure” traps from Cisco 1900 devices. At first we thought that it was related to incorrect community name, but that was not it. We disabled SNMP traps for most of these devices, but for some reason one in particular is still sending us “Authentication Failure” traps, we have even gone to the extent of disabling the forwarding trap address of the Netview Server, but they still appear. Any clues? Herman E. Caballero
