I have moved resolv.conf on my Netview AIX server , so that i can prevent netview from using it to lookup names of devices via DNS. I want Netview to only use the /etc/hosts file to determine the names of devices it discovers. I was previsouly running with the resolv.conf file but have moved it. Does anyone know why netview will not start again once I have done this? Do I need to reinit anything? =-Chris Petrina |
