| Have you changed the community name in the mgragent.acl file to match that of the community name in snmpd.conf? My guess for the nvlockd problem: After reinstallation of the system all or some of the NetView socket entries in /etc/services are missing. Maybe this helps. To my disappointment mgragentd couldn't start and the messages i got were: snmpdx: Subagent died: mgragentd PID=366 -- deleted from the agent table in /var/adm/messages and object manager name: mgragentd behavior: OVs_NON_WELL_BEHAVED state: NOT_RUNNING PID: 400 exit status: exit(2) object manager name: nvlockd behavior: OVs_WELL_BEHAVED state: FAILED PID: 403 last message: Initialization failed exit status: - in /usr/OV/tmp/netnmrc.ovstart My question is: Do I have to restore something beyond /usr/OV ??? or I have to install NetView again :-( ???
