Does anybody know how to enable the TRAPS for 3COM 3300 STACKS so
that when a STACK MEMBER (unit) goes offline it will generate a trap?
I receive traps from the 3300 switch but when a unit of the stack is removed or fails I never get a trap. I do know that 3com uses RMON EVENTS to generate these traps and there is one defined in the EVENT group called UNIT REMOVED but I do not know how to enable it. Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance. Jeff Fitzwater OIT Network Systems Princeton University |
