Check that all NetView daemons, utilities,
web and jre processes have been stopped including nettl logging. Run slibclean
afterwards. Then try again.

FixPack 3 install fails with the following
message:
 
18:09:57 Performing Prerequisite Checking.

18:10:31 Performing File Backup.
18:11:03 Shutting down NetView daemons.
18:11:25 Performing File Replacement.
cp: /usr/OV/lib/libmib.a: Cannot
open or remove a file containing a running program.
18:11:40 Installation of /usr/OV/lib/libmib.a
failed.
18:11:40 Installation aborted - the state
of the NetView installation is unknown.
18:11:40 Use /usr/OV/service/V713/FixPack3/backout
to restore this system.
