HI, We are using NetView 7.1.4 FP3 on Windows. I am facing a problem when a child node goes down for some reason the status of Parent changes to yellow which is Normal. But when i acknowledge the "DOWN" child-node the parent still stays Yellow, isn't the status of parent dependent on child? I have to manually change that object properties to "Propagate status from Child". In case of a router this gets more difficult because all the networks connected to it turns out to Yellow (Marginal). Regards, Usman Taokeer Si3. |
