Hi,

Thanks for the info.

I have tested this issue and find the following results( NV 7.1.4 AIX FP03, status polling every 5 min and NV_NETMON_IGNORE_LINK_UPDN is set to false in the netmon.conf ).

The Netview changes the status after about 1 min (constant delay) from receiving the cisco_link_down/up trap.

After adding "quicktest -P $A" as a trap action the status is changed immediately.

I would like to know if the 1 min delay is a hold-down timer and if so is this delay is configurable?

Best regards,
Alaa Farrag
