You want to know if a script is being run on AIX? Try stop looking at the file (with vi pg cat) for 3 mins. Then use the access time field with '-u' ls -lu nameofscript The timestamp will change when the script is executed. John Gatrell, BA, AIX Cert Specialist, Cisco CCNA.
