Hello all

I'm trying to start the Netview Web Console v. 7.1.4 fixpack 3 on Windows
XP SP2, with the following command:
C:\Program Files\Tivoli Systems\Tivoli NetView Web
Console\lib>..\jre\bin\java -jar netview.jar --host NVSERVERNAME --port
8080 --scripturl /netview/scripts/submapexplorer.js --targetnode NODENAME

After I enter my username and password, it shows the desired node, as I
would expect it to.
So, Tivoli Netview Web Console works, it you use it normally. i just want
to automate the opening of Netview.

But if I add the parameter "--stdin" after the command, in order to submit
username and password via keyboard before the screen loads, I just get a
grey screen.
If I enter the correct username and password, nothing happens. If I enter
wrong username and password, it prompts me to enter the rigtht ones, and
logs in succesfully.
A dump of the error messages, after setting 4jlog to "ALL":
-----------------------------------------------------------
C:\Program Files\Tivoli Systems\Tivoli NetView Web
Console\lib>..\jre\bin\java -jar netview.jar --host NVSERVERNAME --port
8080 --scripturl /netview/s
cripts/submapexplorer.js --targetnode NODENAME --stdin

Output:

The window comes up with a title: Tivoli netview -- SuperUser:Unrestricted

Is this a bug, or does someone have an idea of how to get it working?

..\jre\bin\java -version gives:
--------------------------------------
java version "1.3.1"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1)
Classic VM (build 1.3.1, J2RE 1.3.1 IBM Windows 32 build cn131-20030329
(JIT enabled: jitc))

Hope you can help!
